Conservation Law Practice: For more than 35 years, the firm has practiced in the area of land use and land conservation from the individual, corporate, governmental and non-profit perspectives. The firm has participated in successful land preservation efforts and land conservation transactions throughout Connecticut. Our attorneys have formed non-profit corporations and obtained IRS 501(c)3 recognition; represented landowners, municipalities and non profits in bargain and fair market sales and donations of conservation lands, including deduction planning; and negotiated, drafted and closed conservation easements (in Connecticut known as "conservation restrictions"). Real Estate and Closings: For home buyers and real estate owners, both conventional and government assisted, we provide services in many aspects of property acquisition and sale; mortgage financing for acquisition. Estate Planning, Wills, and Probate: From wills through probate, our attorneys will help you plan for an orderly and tax effective disposition of your affairs according to your wishes.
